  • Garnish: Simply wash and eat fresh, or use it as a garnish for meats, drinks, salads, or desserts.

Baking and Desserts: Riberries work well in various dessert recipes like tarts, pies, and cakes. The spiced berry flavour of Riberry pairs well with sweet ingredients.

Pork or Duck: Riberries make a great accompaniment to roasted or grilled pork and duck dishes. They add a sweet contrast to the savoury meat.

Smoothies: Blend thawed Riberries with yoghurt, other fruits, and a bit of honey for a refreshing and healthy smoothie.

Jams, Preserves and Chutneys: Make Riberry jam or chutney to spread on toast or use as a condiment for meats and cheese.

Sorbet or Ice Cream: Puree Riberries and use the puree to make homemade sorbet or ice cream.

Compote: Cook Riberries with a bit of sugar and water to make a compote. Serve it over pancakes, waffles, or as a topping for desserts.

  • Rinse before use. Thaw frozen fruit in the refrigerator and consume within 3-4 days.

The fruit can be used sliced fresh, juiced, pickled, or cooked. Remove the small seed before use.

In sweet applications, use sugar to draw out the natural flavours.

  • High in Antioxidants: Riberry is rich in antioxidants, particularly anthocyanins and polyphenols. Antioxidants help protect the body from free radical damage, which is associated with various chronic diseases and aging.

Immune Support: Riberry contains vitamin C, which is essential for a healthy immune system. Consuming riberry can contribute to your daily vitamin C intake, helping to boost your immune function.

Skin Health: The antioxidants in Riberry may also promote skin health by protecting against oxidative stress and supporting collagen production, which can help maintain skin elasticity and reduce the signs of aging.

Anti-Inflammatory Properties: Some studies suggest that the compounds in Riberry may have anti-inflammatory properties. Reducing inflammation in the body is important for overall health and can help with conditions such as arthritis.

Digestive Health: Riberry contains dietary fibre, which is beneficial for digestive health. Fibre can help regulate bowel movements, prevent constipation, and support a healthy gut microbiome.
