Also known as the white aspen, this stunning fruit of the Lemon Aspen tree is native to the tropic regions of eastern Australia. Described as the love child of an apple and a lemon, the pale yellow, spongey fruits have a core like an apple, and soft, edible skin. This exotic fruit boasts a complex flavour of tangy tropical lemon with subtle camphor notes- reminiscent of lemonade. Whether sliced fresh, cooked, pickled or minced, Lemon Aspen adds a special touch to any dish wherever conventional lemon is called for- but especially so in drinks! Rinse before use, and remove small seeds.

  • Garnish: Simply wash and slice the fruit into small pieces or thin wedges. Use it as a garnish for meats and seafoods, drinks, salads, or desserts.

    Desserts: Lemon Aspen can be used in various dessert recipes like tarts, pies, and cakes. The tangy flavour of Lemon Aspen pairs well with sweet ingredients.

    Sauces and Marinades: Add Lemon Aspen to sauces and marinades for a unique citrusy flavour. It can be used in both sweet and savoury applications.

    Cocktails: Lemon Aspen juice can be used to make refreshing cocktails, such as margaritas or mojitos. It adds a zesty and unique twist to your favourite drinks.

  • Rinse before use. Thaw frozen fruit in the refrigerator and consume within 3-4 days.

    The fruit can be used sliced fresh, juiced, pickled, or cooked. The small seeds are edible, but best removed before use.

This includes insulated packaging (polystyrene foam and ice packs) to help protect your fruit during transit. However, it does not guarantee that items will remain fully frozen, and we cannot accept liability for partial thawing or delays caused by third-party couriers.

    In the event of thawing due to a shipping delay, we may offer a product replacement, but shipping fees and Frozen Freight Add-On costs are non-refundable.
