Also known as Gubinge, Billygoat plum, or green plum, Kakadu Plum is a small fruit native to the northern regions of Australia, particularly the Kimberley and Kakadu regions. This spectacular Aussie plum is a notable fruit due to its exceptional nutritional content and its mildly sour, slightly sweet flavour which is similar to a gooseberry or green plum. Due to its fibrous flesh, Kakadu Plum is best when finely chopped, cooked, or minced to a pulp, and can be used to infuse a distinctly Australian flavour in all types of sweet and savoury creations. Remove large seed and rinse before use.

  • Baking and Cooking: Kakadu Plums can be used in various baked goods, like pies, tarts, and muffins. Simply slice or chop them and incorporate them into your recipes.

    Jam: Make Kakadu Plum jam or preserves by cooking plums with sugar and pectin.

    Smoothies: Blend thawed plums with yoghurt, other fruits, and a bit of honey for a refreshing and healthy smoothie.

    Sorbet or Ice Cream: Puree plums and use the puree to make homemade sorbet or ice cream.

    Compote: Cook plums with a bit of sugar and water to make a compote. Serve it over pancakes, waffles, or as a topping for desserts.

  • Rinse before use. Thaw frozen fruit in the refrigerator and consume within 3-4 days.

    This fruit is mild in flavour, and can be used sliced fresh, juiced, pickled, or cooked. Remove large seed before use.

This includes insulated packaging (polystyrene foam and ice packs) to help protect your fruit during transit. However, it does not guarantee that items will remain fully frozen, and we cannot accept liability for partial thawing or delays caused by third-party couriers.

    In the event of thawing due to a shipping delay, we may offer a product replacement, but shipping fees and Frozen Freight Add-On costs are non-refundable.
